“It was my 2nd or 3rd time trying yoga (the other times were at a gym), and Raina was aware of my back and neck issues, so she tailored the yoga moves to be similar to my physical therapy. It was private and relaxing, versus crowded with the gym's bright lights; not to mention away from the sounds of the other patrons working out. In the larger classes, it was difficult to look at the instructor while doing the moves; whereas Raina's private lessons were more one-on-one, and she could correct my stance or how I was holding myself up without me requiring straining my neck to see the instructor at the front of the class. She would come to me and make sure I was in the proper position for maximum benefit. She was patient with my lack of terminology and experience, so I felt at ease and able to focus on me, my body, my mind, and what I was doing without worrying about what the instructor was doing or trying to "keep up" with everyone else who were more experienced than I. She made no assumptions regarding my lack of ability and made sure I was comfortable, even if I didn't know the names of the positions.” - Carol

I was reluctant to come due to a back injury that had been previously aggravated by yoga, but gave it a try - and I was glad I did!
